Our Mission

Reviving Postpartum

according to biblical principles

Reviving postpartum according to biblical principles means returning to rhythms of care that honor God’s order—where mothers are surrounded by support, where nourishment and rest are prioritized, and where service is an act of worship. We believe that caring for mothers is a reflection of the Kingdom of Yah: a kingdom built on love, humility, and restoration.

Reflecting the Kingdom of Yah

To reflect the Kingdom of Yah is to return to His original design—to live, serve, and love according to His ways. In today’s culture, motherhood is often rushed, isolated, and undervalued. Yet in the Kingdom, motherhood is sacred, powerful, and deeply connected to Yah’s purpose for creation. We believe that true revival begins in the home—when mothers are restored, families are strengthened, and communities are healed.

Getting back to His ways means slowing down, honoring rest, and embracing the divine order He established from the beginning. It means surrounding mothers with care, nourishment, and community—just as Yah intended. When mothers are given space to heal and be poured into, they can rise into the fullness of who they were created to be—not only as mothers, but as women walking in their God-given destinies beyond their homes.

This is revival: a return to love, to service, to Yah’s heart. By loving Him through obedience and alignment with His ways, we bring His Kingdom to earth—one act of care, one restored mother, one renewed family at a time.

Why Elephants?

The name Elephant Baby was born from the beautiful symbolism found in elephant herds. Elephants are known for their deep bonds, wisdom, and collective care. When a mother elephant gives birth, the entire herd circles around her—protecting, supporting, and celebrating new life. This image perfectly captures what we believe postpartum care should look like: a circle of strength, compassion, and unwavering support.

Just as elephant calves are nurtured by the whole herd, we believe every mother deserves a village that surrounds her with love and care. Elephant Baby is a reminder that none of us are meant to do this alone.

about elephants

In the heart of Elephant Baby's mission lies the desire to emulate the supportive and interconnected matriarchal society of elephants. Just as elephant herds rally around the matriarch for guidance and protection, our community is a haven where mothers find strength, support, and collective wisdom.

Inspired by Nature: Elephant mothers carry their babies for nearly two years—the longest gestation of any land animal. This patience and endurance reflect the depth of care and time mothers need after birth.

Community at the Core: In elephant herds, “aunties” help care for the babies, giving the mother time to rest and recover. Our postpartum doulas embody that same spirit of shared care and teamwork.

The Eternal Postpartum Movement: We believe postpartum is not a phase—it’s a lifelong transformation. The Eternal Postpartum Movement is our call to honor motherhood as an ongoing journey of growth, healing, and grace.

Faith in Action: Our mission is grounded in biblical principles of service, compassion, and restoration. We see our work as ministry—caring for mothers as sacred work.

At Elephant Baby, we’re more than a postpartum care agency—we spearhead a movement to restore the heart of motherhood. Every moment of service is an offering of love to Yah, a reflection of His compassion, and a declaration that His ways are still good, still holy, and still the path to life.
