Motherhood was never meant to be carried alone. Yet for many widows, the postpartum and motherhood journey begins in the shadow of loss—without the partner, support, or rest every mother deserves.
The Widow’s Nest Campaign, inspired by Isaiah 1:17, is a compassionate initiative by Elephant Baby and The Eternal Postpartum Movement to provide holistic care for widowed mothers. Together, we are building a community that defends, supports, and restores—one mother at a time.
Our Campaign Mission
To honor the biblical call of Isaiah 1:17 by offering postpartum and motherhood care to widows through practical services, emotional support, and spiritual renewal.
We believe that caring for widowed mothers is an act of justice, compassion, and restoration. Through this campaign, we connect widows with the care they need to heal, rest, and rebuild.
How it Works
1. Nominate a Widow Or Apply for Yourself – Anyone can refer a widowed mother in need of postpartum or motherhood support or you can apply if you are a widow in need.
2. We Connect & Assess – Our team reaches out to understand her needs and match her with the right care.
3. Care is Provided – Services are funded through the Widow’s Care Campaign and delivered by trusted Elephant Baby providers.
4. Community Sustains the Mission – Donations, partnerships, and prayer keep the movement alive.
What We Provide
Through the Widow’s Nestt Campaign, widowed mothers can receive access to:
Postpartum Doula Support – Compassionate, in-home care for rest and recovery.
Meal Support – Nourishing meals prepared and delivered with love.
Mother's Helper Support– Trusted “Extra Set of Hands” support for daily needs.
Lactation & Infant Care Guidance – Gentle, informed help for feeding and bonding.
Rest & Renewal Retreats – Safe spaces for spiritual and emotional restoration.
Community Connection – A network of care rooted in faith and empathy.
Ways to Get Involved
Give
Your donation directly funds postpartum and motherhood care for widows.
Connect
Nominate a widow who could benefit from support.
Pray
Join us in lifting up widowed mothers and their children in prayer.
Together, we can live out Isaiah 1:17—defending, supporting, and restoring widowed mothers through the sacred work of postpartum care.
